It is rather cumbersome and time consuming to manually confirm every appointment, either via phone call or text. Then to update appointment in the dental management system according to the patient’s response.

Scope of Work

• Develop plugin to extract patient records from dental software and update records based on patient’s response
• Develop software to automatically send/receive text reminders for appointments

Solution & Results

3A Global Solutions developed a solution to interact with the patients without any manual intervention from the receptionist. We developed a plugin that would integrate with the dental software and extract patient’s appointments. Then it would send a reminder text message to the patient’s phone number asking for confirmation. Based on the patient’s response – confirm or infirm – it would update the appointment in the dental software to either CONFIRMED or CANCELLED.
